Level Design: Ceilings

Objective: Add to the ceiling to create a more interesting environment.

If you have followed along with my tutorials thus far you will already have a ceiling. However, it’s really boring to look at, so I’m going to add to it. First to get a better view select the floor folder and turn it off.

First, I’m going to lower the ceiling in the entryway to the top of the archways.

Now we need to patch the hole in the main room.

Now in the main chamber let’s add some struts

Just adding these struts adds another level of detail to your environment. Don’t be afraid to add more.
