Objective: understand the difference between Body and LookAt!

While working with Virtual Cameras there are two major settings you need to be fully aware of. You have the LookAt and the Body.

The option ‘LookAt’ handles the Aiming setting for your virtual camera. I you want your camera to aim at a specific object you need to set that object as the LookAt object.

Similarly, the ‘Follow’ handles the Body setting for your virtual camera. If you want your camera to move with an object you need to set that object as the ‘Follow’ object.

Now your camera will follow the object, and you can adjust your damping on all axis to get your perfect camera motion. We will get into the other Body types in future tutorials. Don’t be afraid to experiment with your cameras and I’ll see you in the next tutorial!
